Penny Snowden Director

One of the founding Directors of Fast Track, Penny's sporting career began in 1982 when she joined track and field athletics' world governing body, the IAAF, as athletics exploded on the world scene. Ten years later, after becoming Marketing Director, she left to join Alan Pascoe and Edward Leask at APA/API, liaising between commercial clients and governing bodies.

Multi tasking across event management, client servicing, contracting and broadcasting, Penny gained a hands on understanding of the sports marketing business from all angles and as a result, developed a straightforward and practical approach to the contractual relationship between clients, governing bodies, sponsors and participants.

"I remain hugely committed to the importance sport plays in society, in education and in the growth and development of young people. I am immensely proud to have enjoyed an international career in sport, despite never having been an elite performer and to have assisted in the creation and development of Fast Track. "

Feeling the need to be able to understand sport from the competitor's angle and in an effort to maintain and promote a healthy lifestyle, Penny continues to pound the streets of Oxfordshire, where she lives with her husband and two young daughters, and put herself through various sporting challenges!
