Fast Track was founded in 1998 by Olympians Alan Pascoe, MBE and Edward Leask, with UK Athletics as the principal client. The focus was on delivering commercial revenue for the Governing Body by promoting, delivering and marketing televised athletics events and on the back of this success, Fast Track worked with other National Governing Bodies to raise the profile of their sports.

In 2005, with the announcement of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games coming to London, Fast Track acquired sports marketing brand consultancy Lighthouse Communications, broadening the portfolio of clients and expanding competencies  into sponsorship consulting, PR and experiential activities. The new company, now 80 strong, had emerged as one of the leading sports marketing agencies in the UK.

In March 2007, marketing services group, Chime Communications PLC added Sports Marketing to its portfolio with the acquisition of Fast Track in a move that recognised the sector’s growing importance. Chime formed an entirely new division, CSM Sport and Entertainment, with Fast Track as the founding agency, and we have been joined by market leaders from across the various aspects of sports marketing, including iLUKA, Essentially, ICON and JMI as well as a number of regional specialists like People Marketing in Shanghai and Golden Goal in Brazil over the last 8 years.

Our core competencies remain Sponsorship CONSULTANCYStrategy, Rights Management, Insight & Data; CONTENTPR & Media, Digital, Social, Video and Design; and LIVEHospitality, Event Management and Experiential; but our mix of clients has evolved to be predominantly sponsoring brands.

Over the last 9 years, we have expanded internationally, opening new offices in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Sydney, Doha and Singapore, and as well as plans to continue this growth, we also have access to CSM’s 21 offices in 14 countries around the world.

Having won a BT Sports Industry Awards in the Best Sponsorship of an Event category for our #WeDealInReal campaign for Land Rover in RWC2015 we were also shortlisted for Agency Of The Year in 2015. We continue to deliver award winning and nominated campaigns for our clients across the various sponsorship and communications sector awards both in the UK and across the globe.
