Overview
Fast Track Sailing placed Scottish and Southern Energy, one of the UK's largest energy company and the UK’s largest producer of renewable energy, as the first sponsor of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games venue.

Our Role
Fast Track Sailing was principally tasked to provide strategic advice on sponsorship, identification of branding opportunities, public relations and event management for the launch of the sponsorship.

Activity
Fast Track Sailing created a successful sponsorship partnership with the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy through multiple tasks, including; formatting of sponsorship proposal, organisation and execution of the sponsorship press launch, media scheduling and management, recruiting and day management of athletes, production of press and images releases.

Results
Fast Track Sailing has negotiated a successful deal between Scottish and Southern Energy and the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, with a sponsorship in place until 2014. In addition, the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy won the 2008 Environmental Concern in Sport Award at the prestigious Sport Industry Awards in association with Scottish and Southern Energy.
