The Challenge

  • The UAE’s regional problem of obesity, lack of exercise and associated illnesses is growing and needs to be addressed
  • Very few events in UAE have the ability to genuinely attract a wide demographic of participants and encourage healthy lifestyle at the same time.
  • As a leading Sport and Entertainment agency in the region, Fast Track decided to tackle these issues head on by delivering a world-class series of events that unites people from across backgrounds, nationalities, genders and athletic ability

The Idea

  • The growth of non-traditional mass participation events globally has exponential, as these events attract an audience of people who want to be active but not necessarily competitive
  • Based on its global success (35+ events internationally) and unique concept, Fast Track opted to bring the Electric Run™ – the world’s premier night time 5k fun-run, to the UAE for the first time
  • Electric Run™ combines an enjoyment of exercise, with the vibrancy of neon lights & contemporary music, to create a compelling, cool and unique consumer experience.

What We Did

  • Fast Track organized three massively successful events in 2015 and 2016 – hosting one each in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
  • Total attendance was 16,000+ participants
  • Secured and worked with a broad spectrum of commercial partners ranging from technology companies to fitness centres
  • Each Electric Run™ event in the UAE was fully implemented by Fast Track; route creation, marketing and full event delivery
